Yesterday day we had our first meeting of 2020.
Attendance was a bit light. No judgment:-)
Personally I totally get it. We are all busy operating our businesses.
First, we need to address the elephant in the room. 🐘
Why is attendance light???
We know from a survey, some mentioned it is hard to get to meetings due to scheduling and some say they don't get enough value out of the meeting to justify the time commitment.
Whatever the reason, your 2020 Chamber Board wants to address it head on and fix it. We want our members to get massive value out of the meetings and chamber opportunities.
This is one of the reasons we totally redesigned our meeting agenda format.
Our town may be small, but we are freaking scrappy!
Our NEW 2020 board is ready to work and serve our businesses. All we need is an active group of members to make this thing go.
We need to build a relevant chamber that can function in a 2020 Amazon world.
Not to be dramatic, but the health of our community depends on all of our businesses connecting with the single mission of growing our businesses and creating massive awareness.
Please don't take this as a Tony Robbins motivational speech. I did do that whole firewalk thing🔥... Kinda weird. Anyways, we are just excited about all of the possibilities that are building in our town.
So we need a
